Go to Crossword Mode. Enter "x" into the search box. Select "Find words beginning with the pattern" using the dropdown list below the search box. Click the Find button. - Click here to find words beginning with "X"

Go to Crossword Mode. Enter "qi" into the search box. Select "Find words containing the pattern" using the dropdown list below the search box. Click the Find button. - Click here to find words containing "qi"

x-mark How do I unscramble words, e.g. turn "abcdelmnrsu" into "unscrambled"?

There are two ways to unscramble words via Xworder:
1. Go to Full Anagrams mode, enter your letters, and click Find. (You may want to switch to the Full Word List). One of the single-word anagrams that appear at the top of the list will be your answer.
2. Go to Scrabble Mode, enter your letters, set the minimum length to be equal to the number of letters that you entered, and click Find.

Go to Crossword Mode. Enter "??" into the search box. Select "Find words matching the pattern" (default option) using the dropdown list below the search box. Click the Find button. - Click here to find two-letter words

x-mark How do I find fun and meaningful anagrams?

Utilize Full Anagrams mode and be creative. You have more chances to find interesting anagrams when you use the Limited word list (see About word lists). Another tip is to use the Scrabble Mode first to find a word that you want to appear in your anagram. Then you can remove that word from the original phrase and feed the remaining letters into the Full Anagrams mode.
